Privacy Policy

FounderFunnel (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered content studio for creators on X (Twitter). This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have. If anything is unclear, email sharbelayy@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

When you use FounderFunnel we collect:

  • Account info from X. When you sign in with X we receive your handle, display name, profile image, and follower count. We never see your X password.
  • Account info from Google. If you sign in with Google we receive your email, display name, and profile image.
  • Content you create. Drafts, articles, scheduled posts, niche selections, voice profile, calendar entries, saved titles.
  • X performance data. We periodically pull public impressions/likes/replies on tweets you publish so we can show your analytics.
  • Usage and device data. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) for security and debugging. If you opt in, anonymous product analytics via PostHog.

2. How we use it

  • To run the product (generate drafts, fetch trends, render your dashboard).
  • To personalize generation in your voice.
  • To compute analytics and show progress toward your growth goals.
  • To debug issues and prevent abuse.
  • To send you account-related email (sign-in receipts, billing, security).

3. Who we share with

We share data only with the third-party services we need to operate FounderFunnel:

  • OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini)— we send your draft prompts and selected context to these LLM providers to generate content. They do not train models on this data per their API terms.
  • Vercel, Neon (Postgres), Upstash (Redis)— hosting, database, and rate limiting.
  • X (Twitter) API— we read public tweet data on your behalf using the token you grant at sign-in.
  • Google OAuth— if you choose Google sign-in.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your drafts, articles, voice profile, and personal info within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate metrics may be retained for product analytics.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing sharbelayy@gmail.com. If you're in the EU/UK, GDPR rights apply. If you're in California, CCPA rights apply.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If you opt in, we use PostHog for product analytics (no PII, IP truncated).

7. Children

FounderFunnel is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). Do not use the service if you are under that age.

8. Changes

If we materially change this policy we'll post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date and notify active users by email.
